Shopping in North Cyprus

North Cyprus is a shoppers paradise: imported high-quality brands of clothing are a fraction of the cost of those in the UK. Local bottles of alcohol sell for two pounds Sterling for a litre bottle, and cigarettes only two pounds Sterling per packet.

Tourist shops are in abundance all over North Cyprus, and locally produced items are worth browsing. In the summer period the shops are open until at least 7pm although some close for lunchtime. In the winter they close around 6pm.
